“It’s no wonder that truth is stranger than fiction. Fiction has to make sense.” – Mark Twain
My name is James Stuart, and I write in public so people can see how clever I am. Also because my apartment has crappy WiFi.
I received my Bachelors Degree in English from Colorado State University in 2011, and have dedicated myself to writing fiction that is fresh, thought-provoking, and occasionally profane. My influences are extremely diverse, running the gamut from Ernest Hemingway and Ray Bradbury to Zadie Smith and Jhumpa Lahari. Everything you read here is brief and has been written to be read quickly, but thoughtfully.
